Welcome to Newcastle Community Hall

This historic community hall offers traditional elegance and historical charm. With 25 foot ceiling, original hardwood floors, 8 foot wainscoting and stage with grand piano, Newcastle Hall is the ideal place to create memories of a lifetime. The perfect setting for weddings, sport banquets, fundraisers, trade shows, auctions, etc.

The hall was built in 1923 by the Massey family and later willed to the Municipality of Clarington. It has housed a theatre, jail cells and council chambers over the years. It boasts a 4 lane bowling alley, available for private parties, small meeting rooms and large main banquet hall. It is also home to Newcastle Historical Society Museum.
